NSRA Hot Rod Drags 2012.

Well it was time for this pilgrim to take his annual trip to the NSRA Hot Rod Drags, now in its 24th year, this is one event i have been attending for a long time, it's one event that if you go once you will go again, the thing i like about this its not an event for Hot Rods specifically anything is welcomed at the event, there was this year the ever increasing number of true Gasser's these are for me the high point of the event.
From early Fords to Chevy's & we even had a Topolino Fiat as well, there Hot Rods were out in vast numbers a lot of these were of a quality that was outstanding, but for me it was all about the Drag racing and the nostalgic feel of the event.

A few pictures below as a Taster next year is a must if you are a genuine car hop. I have been playing with the Filters on some for the fun of it, it sort of adds to the nostalgic feel.

33 willys supe cool pure nostalgia.

Hows this for a blast into the past.

Five window Model A with 32 grill Shell, pure 50'S hot rod.

Topolino Fiat proper old school drag racer.

This just speaks for its self.

This car was the high light of the day this was so Cool,

And as the picture shows all the power to back up it up.

57 Chevy Nomad, liked it.

Sling shot rails, Nitro Burning, again serious old school.

This was originally a show car from the late 70's now doing what it should, Proper 1/4 Pounder.

First Time out last year, this is so nice attention to detail on this car was excellent, Running old Hilborn injection to boot.

And this proves my point.

33 willys again, the stance is excellent, want one.

This belongs to an old friend, Nick Carter getting stronger every year.

this could be decades ago.

This one is my favorite picture.

If you didnt know how old does this picture look?

Like Wise this one.

Next few pictures are the outlaw Anglias.

And the next few are supercharged Outlaws.

And another gasser.

Just loved this picture so i put it on.
Personally i am peobably biased as these are my pictures, but i think the black & Whites are much better than the colour, they just look right , They look like they would have done in the previous decades.
